Graduation

My sweet husband graduated college!

Alex has been in school non stop since we met four years ago, and he finally finished on Friday!  He graduated from Utah Valley University with a bachelors in International Business.  I don't think the reality has set in for him yet. Just today he was complaining that he was bored at work and didn't have any homework to do to fill the time! Crazy man, wishing for homework!  We are still tossing around the idea of a Masters Program sometime next year, but for now we will enjoy not being in school!
I do love having him all to myself in the evenings. I get to see my honey so much more now that school is out, and we plan on having our best and most fun fulled summer yet!

We Bought a House

We are officially homeowners! Its so insane to me because I'm only 21, and we own our own house but I love it! I love having so much space, and having little projects to keep me busy. Its seriously one of my favorite things to do now. I think I'm driving Alex a little crazy because I keep finding new things I want to do around the house (thank you, Pinterest), and our "to do" list is forever being added to. But Hey, we have as much time as we need to get things done, right?

Ella Bloom

I forgot I hadn't blogged about my new job! I'm working at a super cute salon in Lindon Utah named Ella Bloom. I absolutely LOVE it, which is great because I'm there almost constantly. My poor husband, I swear he hardly ever sees me anymore. I work with the best girls and everyone is so nice. Building my clientele is slow going, but I'm kept busy assisting one of the senior stylists and I'm learning SO much! I do Racoon Bonded Extensions, Color, Cuts, and Brazilian Blowouts.
Most of the salon went to Las Vegas in June for a hairshow, which was such a fun trip and a great bonding experience! Here is a pic of me and a few of the girls in Vegas.

A Much Needed Update

Yes, we are still alive! I'm such an awful blog updater.
So here's list of things we've been up to since August--

I graduated from cosmetology school in September

My little brother and sister came out for Thanksgiving

Attended two cousins mission homecomings- Tanner Madsen and Joey Quist

We went to Washington for Christmas with my in-laws

I got a job at Ella Bloom Salon in Lindon in January

Alex got a promotion at work (So proud of you Honey)

In other news, we're looking to buy a house, hopefully before our contract is up in June. We're both working hard and insanely busy. Alex works full time and is taking classes full time, and I'm working two jobs. So if you don't hear from us much, thats why. I'll try to take and post some new pictures of us soon!
